'More Murder in Coombesford'
The traditional English village of Coombesford lies at the base of the Haldon Hills (think Midsomer in South Devon). It is the home of Charlie Jones and Annie McLeod, amateur sleuths who run the village pub. And there is plenty going on to keep them busy.
Two years ago, they investigated the murder of the local squire (in Murder at Mountjoy Manor). Now they are trying to find out who killed an unpopular shopkeeper and left his body in Stover Country Park. In the week that 'Villainy at the Village Store' is launched, author Elizabeth Ducie introduces the suspects and the folks who will bring the culprit to justice.
Elizabeth Ducie trained as a scientist and worked in the international pharmaceutical industry for nearly thirty years before deciding she wanted a complete change of direction. She gave up the day job, began studying the craft of creative writing, and now writes fiction and creative non-fiction full-time.
